The California Association of Winegrape Growers (CAWG) and the Lodi District Grape Growers Association (LDGGA) will be hosting a Grower Education Program on Thursday, May 30, at Oak Ridge Winery.

The session will include a local and international update from Glenn Proctor, with the Ciatti Company; a California legislative and bill overview from CAWG’s new Government Relations Director, Brenda Coleman; an update on the Farm Bill, and pest & disease from CAWG’s president, John Aguirre; an update regarding immigration reform and labor issues with both John Aguirre, with CAWG, and Amy Wolfe, from AgSafe; and a county update and other local issues with County Supervisor Ken Vogel.
